The public clamored for 586-4XXX information from the 1966 phone book

And who are we to disappoint.  It's clear from the early cumes that this phone book stuff is off the chain, 2018's first legitimate blockbuster (besides Black Panther, which, to be fair, had a much bigger production and advertising budget).

Once again, for those of you just joining the bandwagon, the first 100 numbers (in this case, those numbers beginning with 586-40XX) are spelled out, then numbers are compressed beyond this to focus only on unassigned or unlisted telephone numbers, comparing them with the 2016 phone book to see which unassigned or unlisted phone numbers were also unassigned or unlisted 50 years later, whether this was simply a coincidence or some sinister plot.  The bottom line, listed at the bottom, is the most important takeaway from this whole exercise:  Although it very much appeared that Estes Park was running out of 586-3XXX and 586-4XXX phone numbers by 1966, the truth was, there were hundreds of phone numbers left in the pool, unless, DUH-DUH-DUH (ominous organ music) they were behind withheld for a reason, or unlisted for a reason.
