Is this really what the ballot looks like, CDIV?

Charles in Charge was kind enough to post his ballot (I'm assuming it's one of his) on FB.  I think he chose some selective cropping, because that's not what my ballot looks like.  CDIV, my name isn't even on the ballot.  Are you so intent on "disappearing" me your mouse had to crop off a blank line next to a fill-in oval below Michelle Hiland's name?

I'll post the actual ballot shortly - Maybe CDIV got the ballot they give to the kids who rode the short bus to school.  (Or maybe he's illiterate, and his actual ballot has pictures of the candidates next to fill-in ovals.)  Or maybe CDIV is up to his same old tricks, selective memory and all.

Sorry Charley, your pika is still a pedophile.  Of all the people you picked to honor in town, you chose a dirty old man who molested an underage girl.

Charley's ballot, apparently
I don't know if it's the scientist in me or the honest broker, but whenever you post a photograph or scan of something flat and two-dimensional, in order to show it hasn't been cropped or Photoshopped, it's best to provide (1) an overview of the document with generous margins and (2) a zoom-in of the portion under examination, again with generous margins.  Generous margins means proof of how large the object is by including the background (and generally some ruler to provide scale, which isn't necessary in this case, because size wasn't the issue) in the image, in other words, not cropping within the border of the item being examined.  Charley's ballot is an example of why Charley should never be given a position of leadership in the community.  His "honesty" is always agenda-driven and subject to equivocation - It is never an absolute.

Here is the actual ballot, mailed to actual registered voters of Estes Park:

Note that there are three spaces at the bottom for three write-in candidates.  You can write in Charley Dickey IV if you so choose.  This is America.  Note also that there are two "No Loop" candidates registered for this election, and, no, Art Messal is not one of them.

I'm always fascinated by the question of why Marie Cenac entered local politics

Okay so I'll say it
