The more things don't change, they more they stay the same
Back in 1979, when the Estes Park hospital was correctly called Elizabeth Knutsson, and an ob/gyn was chief of staff (never a good idea), we witnessed a potentially similar conflict of wills (again, this is a personnel matter, so, like a 6-year-old getting mowed down mid-Elkhorn, details will only be provided on a "need to know" basis).
Of course, at that time, the head of the hospital board was a physician, not a lumberjack. And Estes Park had yet to instigate a policy of non-transparent transparency.
Read and enjoy. I'll fill you in on how things ultimately turned out as soon as we learn this Monday how the board's mishandling of the Mac Attack turns out. I hate to provide the current PHD team any free pointers, since they claim they have this all buttoned up, and don't need to struggle with the truth like the rest of us.
