So this is reassuring (wink wink)

Colorado claims they have done most of the 58 tests.  Which means most of the 58 tests have been performed in the past week.  If anyone has been paying attention, they would know 20 tests were performed outside of the state before the state was given permission to start running the tests.   So at best 38 tests have been done in state, and 21 are still pending.  For a 24 hour test, the Colorado Department of Public Health claims.

So the Colorado Department of Public Health, in the past week, has been able to run 17 tests.  In the past week.  For a 24-hour test.  Meaning they are currently geared up to run 2 or 3 per day.

Well, let's not let the perfect get in the way of the good, or the marginal get in the way of the average, or, in this case, the ability to run 2 or 3 tests per day get in the way of an outbreak that will require testing of 200 or 300 per day.
