So the idiot who kicked me off that Facebook group

back in March for pointing out COVID was much, much worse than influenza, and who quoted a completely inflated statistic of Italy having 36,000 deaths from influenza last year while kicking me off - Here's a sobering piece of news:


Italy is on track to lose 72,000 citizens from SARS-CoV-2 infection by the end of the year.  That's double the made-up number of influenza deaths you provided, in less than a full year of fake influenza statistics you provided.  

The number above is a real number.  Those are real deaths of real human beings.  The population of Italy is 60 million.  This represents well over 0.1% of their entire population.  1 out of every 1000 Italians who began 2020 alive and well are now dead from one cause.  If you went to a concert with 14,000 people in the stands, that would be 14 people who didn't emerge alive after the concert.  This is slightly less than the total number of people killed by the suicide bomber at the Ariana Grande concert in 2017.  Did we tolerate a bunch of voices after that saying "Why weren't more killed?  That wasn't enough people killed by a suicide bomber at the concert.  We need to have bigger concerts with more suicide bombers."

Umm, no, we did not.  So why do we continue allowing Estes Park Facebook groups to have moderators who deny and downplay the existence and murderous intent of this virus?  Would we allow ISIS to moderate Estes Park Facebook groups?  Would we not instead join as one and demand the removal of such moderators?  Yet the sheeple of Estes Park continue to grant stupid people the loudest voices, and deny voices to those who have been on top of this from the jump.  On every format, in every instance, idiots hold sway - print journalism, social media, decision making at the local level, trustees who won't admit they traveled when they were told to stay home, indeed, when they mouthed the words for others to stay home.  Meanwhile, the truth-tellers go begging for an audience.  Because they are silenced, and kicked off of Facebook for knowing the truth, and daring to tell it.  Welcome to the end of the world.

According to the IMDb website, some portion of the movie Hostiles was filmed in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Does this look like Pagosa Springs? The movie is gorgeously shot, and the locations are breathtaking.  Being somewhat familiar with Pagosa Springs, though, I'm having trouble matching any of the exteriors with anything within a 10-mile radius of Pagosa Springs. According to IMDb The railway station at Chama, New Mexico served as the stand-in for Butte, Montana.  Chama is about 50 miles away from Pagosa Springs, and Pagosa Springs definitely sent some of its own down to Chama to serve as extras, one of whom is currently pedaling coal from the Chama location on Ebay. A big-budget movie filming in a community of 2000 is generally a newsworthy event.  Filming of Hostiles took place in the summer of 2016, and Pagosa Springs' newspaper of record, the Sun , made no mention of stars Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike, Wes Studi, or director Scott Cooper hanging out at P

Jeez we have a bunch of milquetoast pretend journalists in town. The guy who was arrested locally a few clicks back, Keaton M.A. Krell, is the same guy who sexually assaulted a bunch of underage females in Linn County, Kansas, and, brazenly, got away with it. The airtight connection is through his wife or ex-wife or whoever star pupil and non-profit wunderkind Candace Krell is. But even then, c'mon, how many folks named Keaton M.A. Krell are running around diddling little girls? Get some cojones, POR (paper of record) and POR (podcast of record).
