Mark my word: The Wildfire development proposal will pass unanimously

And the proposed water rate increase will pass unanimously.
I'm looking forward to the time when Estes Park completes the loop.  That loop being the loop where the trustees actually do something beyond listening.  Maybe they are listening to other (more) people.  I doubt if anyone has sent them emails demanding an increase in water rates.  Maybe they are listening to staff, who are listening to outside consultants.

Generally, trustees hear voices they didn't know existed when the run for re-election.  We lost two incumbents last cycle, and gained three new trustees.  I wonder why?  Are the three new trustees listening?  Of course they are.  Are they making any changes based on that input?  Only if that input comes from individuals they agree with.  Being a trustee means making tough decisions, like denying people the right to vote on things like the Loop because the common rabble is passionate and stupid.  That was a decision made not by the majority, but by a group of pigs who like wallowing in money.

Welcome to Estes Park.  Please drive off our roads at 60 miles per hour.  You won't be missed, and no one locally will really care if your body turns up floating in the Big Thompson River.  I mean, we'll listen.  But moving from our chairs is difficult, especially with all the great diarrhea-inducing restaurants that deliver, or we can waddle to.
