Dems rebut-but
Attached is the 10-page Democratic rebuttal to the majority memo released on 2 February (actually, only the first seven pages are attached. The final three pages are bibliography, which you are free to pull up from another source - Give Dems one point for showing their work). Now it's the Republicans turn to dismiss a partisan memo as a "nothingburger".
I have no comment, except to say the Republican majority wins simply because they released their memo first (it's good to be king), and the voting public has long since moved on to the next CNN-generated "crisis". I will point out, however, that I don't savvy redacting something so heavily, readers are forced to piece together non-sentence fragments like "DOJ also documented evidence that [Carter] Page, anticipated and repeatedly contacted in an effort to present himself as footnotes 15 and 16 [sic]. Page's efforts to also contradict his sworn testimony to our Committee [sic]." What powerful smack-down am I supposed to pull from that leftover word garbage?
