Things are cooking all over
Nicky's has new owners, and they are from Oshkosh (not OshKosh), home to 1000 people and two short-order restaurants, last I checked, neither of which would require, or could afford, a Michelin-trained chef. An indeed, despite the glowing press release, John Thomason has a far different background, profiled here:

Maybe this isn't the story you want to hit potential diners with upfront, having just moved to a new community, but it is a far more interesting and redemptive story, dovetailing nicely with Harmony, which has a killer buffet on Friday evenings, certainly better than what Nicky's was dishing out the past three seasons.
