John Meisner is a homo moron

That faggot cocksucking dipshit should learn to keep his cocksucking mouth shut...

Oppa is better than marginal

Image
I don't mind Oppa, it's a bit overpriced and barely authentic, but it has picked up as far as efficiency of getting an order out to the table no more than 10 minutes after paying.  It is not Korean fast food, so the idea that you pay more and order yourself up at the counter seems a bit counter-intuitive, but whatever, it at least rates on the same level as eating at the 7-11 in Fort Collins.

What a surprise

Let's see - I grease your palm, you grease mine.  Then we join the others in the darkened room and use our greased palms to maximum advantage, no?

Hide your kids

It's official.  The South Nodaway school board, bowing to intense pressure from lobbyists and MS-13 gang members, caved and allowed their seniors a sneak trip to Denver and Estes Park next spring. Storeowners might want to think about hiring extra security.  Remember the carnage the last time the Longhorns were in town.

Chad Kelly - Cat Burglar?

Image
She was really scared.  By a stranger sitting on her couch at 1:00 a.m. in the morning.  After walking through a locked door. How is it that Chad Kelly gets into a locked home at 1:00 a.m. in the morning? How is it a mother and child were sitting in the living room at 1:00 a.m. in the morning?  Was the kid a fan of the Late Late Late Late Show with Rowan Atkinson? How is it that a mother allowed Chad Kelly to sit down anywhere in her home without running out of the house or into another room, or, if he truly was mumbling and stumbling, just clawing his eyes out? How is it that a hollow aluminum tube drove a professional football player out of someone's home, the same professional football player who took on a professional bouncer outside a nightclub? If Chad Kelly is cut by the Broncos, he has an excellent change of being hired on by a door-to-door magazine subscription service. Imagine, he can walk through unlocked doors at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. There...

wanna grab a bite at the Rodeway Inn?

Image
Why is it spelled "Rodeway"?  Shouldn't it be "Roadway"? Nah, you know, like the phrase "Rode way too hard and put away wet?" Is their restaurant any good?  Good?  It's exactly good.  It's better than Good Times, which is only fair. Well, at least they aren't closed down, like the Soda Stream everyone was bragging about.  Every one of the owner's relatives, that is.  $2 for a watered-down mix of artificial cherry and tasteless root beer had exactly no one begging for more.  Maybe Antonio can open up his cardboard pizza place there again.

How would you like your 1400-point haircut?

A little off the top?

I hope you sold all of your remaining Sears shares yesterday

The problem with extrapolation

Image
I wonder if the $20,000 Estes Park taxpayers spend every two years on a citizen's survey could be better spent buying all 6500 of us a beer.  1600 households in Estes Park were contacted "randomly" (it seems strange that four surveys over the past 10 years have been sent out randomly, yet most people I know who live in Estes Park have never received one) this time around, the PIO admitted that some households have been surveyed multiple times, and still only 40% of contacted households bothered to respond.  On line.  Didn't even have to pay for the stamp.  So a minority of a minority of homeowners in Estes Park responded to a survey, and this gets extrapolated to exact percentages, significant to two digits, like 84% or 58%, with a 4% margin of error, that help set the course for Estes Park's future. I have no idea what this means.  Well, I know what it means, I just shudder to think dumb people who respond to meaningless surveys are at the reins.  These ...

Oh great, a Canadian penny stock scam

Image
is being run out of Estes Park.  Either the two male individuals listed (John Gardiner and Glenn Yeadon) are hot-boxing the property at 681 Conifer Lane, or some kind of real-life devil's triangle is going on there.

Gosh, these abused women certainly aren't engaging

in much civil discourse.  North Korea has lots of civil discourse, maybe Frank would like to move his boys club there.

Who has the largest collection of early Estes Park postcards?

Image
And who claims to have the largest collection of early Estes Park postcards? Who lives in Estes Park year round? Who shops in and supports Estes Park businesses year round? So why, again, does the town go outside of Estes Park to acquire Estes Park's history?  Why does it yield to non-Estes Park citizens to provide Estes Park's history? Are the Estes Park Museum board members sure they picked the right horse? Most board members are from out of town anyway, or just recently moved (part-time/full-time/no-time) to Estes Park, but, again, when we are talking about Estes Park newspapers, Estes Park digitized newspapers, Estes Park telephone books, Estes Park photographs, Estes Park real photo postcards, Estes Park glass plate negatives, Estes Park acetate negatives, who has the largest private collection, who gives the most free programs, year after year after year?  In contrast, who makes the decisions that impact the Estes Park Museum and keep the museum closed to the ...
